Short answer, no. Nike abandoned their trademark in 2019 due to "formalities" and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) labeled Nike's mark as "abandoned." Nike's total90 line of shoes was reported by many sources to have officially ended in 2013 and replaced by the Hyper Venom line.
Coach Hugh was trying to find a name that encompassed all of the products offered, and saw on the USPTO database that the mark "total 90" was labeled abandoned/cancelled in 2019 by the USPTO. With the latest product being sold in 2013, Coach Hugh assumed it was a forgotten brand and decided to develop a brand new vision and identity for TOTAL90 combining fantasy soccer, youth development, soccer specific merchandise, and a podcast all under one umbrella and call it TOTAL90. He filed for the registration in 2022, earning the issuance of use in 2023, and securing the official registration in September of 2024.
